The Diet Solution Scam Alert   no comments

With obesity on the rise, it is no surprise that more people than ever are searching for ways to lose weight. People are beginning to realize that there is no magic pill for weight loss. There are weight loss scams out there that offer just that, or disguise their scam as a more in-depth method that doesn’t produce results.

If you search for weight loss plans online, you will undoubtedly run across The Diet Solution Program started by Isabel De Los Rios. Is this weight loss plan just another one of those scams? The program on the surface looks like a legitimate weight loss method. It doesn’t claim to be a magic bean and admits that the plan requires time and commitment. Remember, though, that those supposed quick and easy weight loss methods aren’t the only ones that are scams. Discovering whether this diet is for real requires deeper investigation.

The first thing you’ll notice when looking into the plan on their web site is that many of the claims they  make on how to lose weight goes against accepted weight loss doctrine. Claims such as needing to eat fat to lose weight, for example, certainly causes doubt to creep in. It is true, however, that there are different methods that have shown to be effective with losing weight. Some dieters have good results by counting calories, while others have better results on low-carb diets.

What is interesting about this plan is that, while it actually does recommend eating some supposedly good carbs such as sweet potatoes, it claims that others, like whole wheat bread, are bad for weight loss. There are other claims that seem contradictory, such as claiming that sugar is the number one enemy of weight loss, while also saying you must eat fruit, which does contain high amounts of sugar.

None of this information proves that the program is a scam or doesn’t work. There are many testimonials and reviews that claim great results, but can those be trusted? If it is a scam, there is sure to be plenty of misinformation put out. The lack of any considerable amount of claims that the plan doesn’t work is a red flag. Even the price of the program, which is usually offered from $50-$100, is questionable. The plan is similar in many ways to good carb diets such as the South Beach Diet. That is a diet that people have been using for over a decade to lose weight, and you can buy the book for much less than De Los Rios’s program.

This diet plan has plenty of red flags, and may very well be a scam. If you are considering a weight loss method, there are cheaper and better tested diets out there.
